A Day of Keeping Central Florida Cool and Comfortable

Morning Preparations – 6:30 AM

The day starts early in the HVAC business, especially during Florida’s sweltering summers. After checking my service schedule and equipment inventory, I load up the service van with essential parts and tools.

First Call – 8:00 AM

Our first stop is in Winter Park, where a family’s AC unit decided to quit during the night. In Florida, this isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s an emergency. The diagnostic process begins with checking:

• Thermostat functionality
• Air filter condition
• Refrigerant levels
• Electrical connections
• Condenser unit performance

Midday – 12:30 PM

After completing two emergency calls, it’s time for a scheduled installation in Oviedo. New system installations are particularly rewarding because we’re providing long-term comfort solutions for our customers.

Afternoon Service – 3:00 PM

The afternoon takes us to Sanford for routine maintenance calls. Preventive maintenance is crucial in Florida’s climate, helping to:

• Extend system lifespan
• Improve energy efficiency
• Prevent unexpected breakdowns
• Maintain indoor air quality

End of Day – 5:30 PM

Before heading back to headquarters, I complete service documentation and prepare for tomorrow’s schedule. Working in cities from Cocoa to Rockledge, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our community stay comfortable.

Being an HVAC technician in Central Florida means being ready for anything. Whether it’s a midnight emergency call or a planned installation, we take pride in keeping our neighbors cool and comfortable all year round.
